Juicy, tender chicken with a flavorful, crispy exterior, perfect for busy weeknights or meal prep.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Optional: Your favorite herbs (like thyme or rosemary)

Instructions

  1. Start by patting the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix well.
  3. Rub this flavorful mixture all over the chicken breasts, ensuring every inch is coated.
  4. If you have a bit of time, let the chicken marinate for 15 to 30 minutes for added flavor.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  6. Once preheated, place the seasoned chicken breasts in the air fryer basket, making sure they don’t touch to allow even cooking.
  7. Cook the chicken for 18 to 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. After cooking, let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing to retain its juices.

Notes

To store any leftovers, place the chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It can stay fresh for up to 3-4 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 5-7 minutes.
