Air Fryer Chicken Parmesan

A healthier twist on classic Chicken Parmesan, crispy and flavorful with gooey cheese and marinara.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Coat each chicken breast evenly with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing down to ensure it adheres well.
  4. Spray both sides of the coated chicken breasts with olive oil spray.
  5. Air Fry the chicken for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and fully cooked.
  6. Add marinara sauce and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
  7. Serve on a plate, over pasta or enjoy on its own!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes.
