A quick and flavorful Air Fryer Chicken Parmesan that offers a healthier twist on the classic Italian dish.

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a shallow bowl.
  3. Coat each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring it sticks by pressing gently.
  4. Spray your air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the coated chicken breasts in a single layer.
  5. Spray the tops of the chicken lightly. Cook for about 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and fully cooked.
  6. Spoon marinara sauce over each chicken piece in the final minutes of cooking and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  7. Continue cooking until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
