A quick and easy air fryer recipe for crispy, cheesy chicken that everyone will love.

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko or Italian seasoned)
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk or water
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Start by pounding each chicken breast to an even thickness.
  2. Pat the chicken dry with a paper towel.
  3. In a shallow dish, mix together the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, flour, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until smooth.
  5. Place the flour in a third dish for dredging.
  6. Take a chicken breast, dredge it in the flour, dip it in the egg wash, and coat it with the Parmesan mixture.
  7. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and spray the basket with cooking spray.
  8. Arrange the coated chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  9. Air fry for 8-10 minutes. Flip the chicken and cook for an additional 5-8 minutes.
  10. Once cooked, let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for best results.
