Delicious breakfast burritos packed with scrambled eggs, savory sausage, and melted cheese, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 cup cooked and crumbled sausage or bacon
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the diced bell peppers and onions. Sauté until softened, around 3-5 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, whisk the large eggs. Season with salt and pepper. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet with the veggies, cooking until fully scrambled.
  3. Lay the tortillas flat on a clean surface. Divide the scrambled egg mixture evenly among the tortillas for a well-stuffed burrito.
  4. Top each portion with crumbled sausage or bacon, a generous sprinkle of shredded cheese, and a spoonful of salsa.
  5. Roll up each tortilla tightly, folding in the ends to secure the filling.
  6. To add extra flavor and a delightful crunch, grill each burrito in the skillet until golden brown. Serve warm, garnished with fresh cilantro if desired.
