A quick and delicious make-ahead breakfast featuring rolled oats, fresh apples, and warming cinnamon flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1 apple, diced
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/4 cup yogurt (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl or jar, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, diced apple, cinnamon, and optional maple syrup.
  2. Stir thoroughly until all ingredients are combined evenly.
  3. If you enjoy a creamier texture, you can fold in the yogurt at this time.
  4. Cover the bowl or jar securely and refrigerate overnight.
  5. In the morning, give your oats a good stir. You can enjoy them cold, or pop them in the microwave for a cozy, warm breakfast.

Notes

Top with chopped nuts or nut butter for extra crunch. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
