Instructions

  1. Toast the slices of sourdough bread until they are golden and crisp.
  2. Mash a ripe avocado in a bowl and season it lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. Spread the mashed avocado generously over the toasted sourdough slices.
  4. Layer the smoked salmon over the avocado.
