A classic dish featuring crispy, cheesy chicken breasts topped with marinara sauce and melted mozzarella.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Coat each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Place the coated chicken breasts in a baking dish and drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Bake the chicken for about 20 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Spoon marinara sauce over each chicken breast.
  7. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  8. Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

Serve hot with pasta or salad. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days.
