A classic Italian comfort dish featuring crispy chicken breasts topped with marinara sauce and melted cheese, perfect for any occasion.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts liberally with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dried oregano.
  3. Coat each chicken breast evenly with breadcrumbs, pressing slightly so they stick well.
  4. Arrange the coated chicken breasts in a baking dish and drizzle them generously with olive oil.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked and the breadcrumbs are golden.
  6. Remove from the oven and spoon marinara sauce generously over each chicken breast.
  7. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top.
  8. Return the dish to the oven for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
