A quick and flavorful dish that combines tender chicken with zesty ranch seasoning, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to ensure they roast nicely.
  3. Brush each breast with olive oil or melted butter—this helps keep the chicken moist.
  4. Generously sprinkle ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper over both sides of each chicken breast.
  5. Place the seasoned chicken into the greased baking dish.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, checking that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing or serving to maintain its juices.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider marinating the chicken in the ranch seasoning for a couple of hours. Chicken thighs can be used as a substitute for breast.
