A simple and elegant dish featuring chicken breasts marinated in balsamic vinegar and honey, perfect for weeknight dinners.

  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish. Pour the balsamic mixture over the chicken, ensuring each piece is thoroughly coated.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
  5. Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.

Notes

For deeper flavor, marinate the chicken for a few hours or overnight. Chicken thighs can be substituted for a richer taste.
