A delightful brunch dish featuring layers of flaky crescent rolls, crispy sausage, fluffy eggs, and gooey cheddar cheese.

  • 1 can crescent rolls
  • 1 pound mild breakfast sausage
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly spray a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the breakfast sausage until cooked through, then drain any excess grease.
  4. Spread the crescent rolls evenly across the bottom of the prepared dish.
  5. Evenly distribute the cooked sausage over the layer of crescent rolls.
  6. Carefully pour the beaten eggs over the sausage layer.
  7. Generously sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  8. Bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Notes

For a healthier twist, use turkey sausage or swap out cheddar for pepper jack. Serve with fresh fruit or your favorite hot sauce!
