A hearty breakfast sandwich combining scrambled eggs, crispy sausage, and creamy avocado.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 2 scrambled eggs
  • 2 slices of cheese
  • 2 breakfast sausage patties
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter for toasting

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add a pat of butter and let it melt.
  2. Place the slices of bread in the skillet and toast until golden brown on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  3. In another pan, cook your breakfast sausage patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, seasoning with salt and pepper. Pour the eggs into the skillet, cooking until fluffy.
  5. To assemble, take one slice of toasted bread and layer on the scrambled eggs, cheese, sausage patties, and sliced avocado.
  6. Top with the second slice of toast and gently press down to hold everything together.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy your hearty breakfast!

Notes

For a vegetarian option, swap sausage for a plant-based alternative or omit it altogether. You can use whole-grain or gluten-free bread based on dietary needs.
