  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning on both sides.
  3. Combine breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese in a shallow dish. Dip each chicken breast into this mixture until fully coated.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken breasts for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce in a baking dish. Arrange the browned chicken on top and cover with the remaining marinara sauce.
  6. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Slice and serve warm.
