Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying
  • Cooked pasta for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Beat the eggs in a bowl. In another bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese together.
  4. Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, coating it well. Then dredge it in the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring it’s fully covered.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken for about 4-5 minutes on each side until it’s golden brown.
  6. Arrange the cooked chicken in a baking dish. Top each piece with marinara sauce and a generous amount of mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve the Chicken Parmesan on a bed of cooked pasta.
