A classic Italian dish featuring crispy breaded chicken topped with marinara sauce and gooey cheeses, served over spaghetti.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Spaghetti (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Coat each chicken breast thoroughly with breadcrumbs.
  4. Arrange the coated chicken on a sheet pan and drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and top each piece with marinara sauce, followed by the grated Parmesan and shredded mozzarella.
  7. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Serve over cooked spaghetti with extra marinara sauce if desired.

Notes

For a juicier option, substitute chicken breasts with thighs. You can also make it gluten-free by using gluten-free breadcrumbs and pasta.
