A delightful meld of juicy chicken, comforting pasta, and rich marinara sauce, topped off with gooey melted cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (any type)
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Start by cooking the pasta according to package instructions until it’s al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until it’s cooked through and no longer pink. Remove from heat and slice into strips.
  4. In the same skillet, pour in the marinara sauce and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the cooked pasta and sliced chicken, ensuring everything is well combined.
  5. Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top, cover the skillet, and let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and gooey.
  6. Finish with a garnish of fresh basil if desired and serve hot.

Notes

For perfectly juicy chicken, let it rest after cooking before slicing. Use pre-cooked rotisserie chicken for quicker prep.
