A creamy and nutritious dessert made with chia seeds and cocoa powder, perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth guilt-free.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of choice)
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons sweetener (like maple syrup or honey)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the chia seeds, almond milk, cocoa powder, sweetener, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Stir until everything is well mixed and there are no clumps.
  3. Let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes; during this time, it will begin to thicken.
  4. Stir again to break up any potential clumps formed.
  5. Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator. Let it chill for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight.
  6. Once thickened, serve it chilled and top with your favorite fruits or nuts.

Notes

If the pudding is too thick after chilling, stir in a little extra milk to reach desired consistency. Can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
