Instructions

  1. Prepare the Batter: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, combine the milk, egg, and melted butter. Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry ones until just mixed—remember, a few lumps are perfectly fine!
  2. Make the Cinnamon Swirl: In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and melted butter until well combined.
  3. Heat the Griddle: Preheat your griddle over medium heat and give it a light greasing to prevent sticking.
