  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 ounces pasta (spaghetti or penne)
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. Combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  4. Dip each chicken breast in the beaten egg, ensuring it’s well-coated, then roll it in the breadcrumb mixture until thoroughly covered.
