A simple and delicious recipe to recreate the smoky, spicy flavor of Chipotle’s chicken at home. Perfect for tacos, burrito bowls, or salads.

  • 2 pounds chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons chipotle chicken seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon adobo sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the chipotle chicken seasoning, adobo sauce, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and well incorporated.
  2. Coat each chicken breast with the spice mixture, ensuring complete coverage.
  3. For the crockpot: Place the seasoned chicken inside and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until tender.
  4. For grilling: Preheat your grill to medium heat. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  5. Once cooked, use two forks to shred the chicken.
