A creamy and comforting dish of seasoned chicken breasts blended with penne pasta in a luscious sauce, perfect for quick weeknight dinners or impressing guests.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pieces Chicken Breast (Boneless and skinless)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 12 oz Penne Pasta
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions until it’s al dente. Once done, drain and set it aside.
  2. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, and basil.
  3. Warm the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the seasoned chicken breasts for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.
  4. Add the butter to the same skillet. Once melted, pour in the heavy cream and stir, scraping any browned bits from the bottom for added flavor.
  5. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted, creating a creamy sauce.
  6. Toss the cooked penne pasta and sliced chicken into the sauce, mixing well to ensure everything is coated.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.

Notes

For a lighter version, you can substitute chicken with turkey or plant-based protein. Pair with garlic bread or a light salad.
