Delicious swirls combining tart cranberry and creamy goat cheese wrapped in flaky puff pastry, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 4 oz goat cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface until it’s evenly flat.
  3. Spread goat cheese evenly over the entire pastry sheet for a creamy foundation.
  4. Spoon the cranberry sauce on top of the goat cheese, spreading it evenly to cover your base.
  5. Roll the pastry tightly from one side to form a log.
  6. Slice the log into 1-inch pieces and place the swirls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the tops with the beaten egg to create a beautiful, golden finish.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the swirls puff up and turn golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and enjoy while warm!
