Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the heavy cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Stir until smooth and blended.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they’re golden-brown.
  4. Transfer the seared chicken breasts to a baking dish.
  5. Pour the creamy mixture evenly over each chicken breast, ensuring they’re well coated.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving hot, if desired.

Notes

Feel free to substitute heavy cream for light cream or use vegetable broth for a lighter or meatless version.
