A delicious dish marrying crispy chicken with a rich, creamy garlic sauce that’s perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pieces of boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup of finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil or butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place chicken breasts between plastic wrap and gently pound them to a uniform 1-inch thickness.
  3. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  4. Create a breading station: in one bowl, beat the eggs; in another, mix breadcrumbs with Parmesan.
  5. Dip each chicken piece in the egg mixture, letting the excess drip off. Coat well with the breadcrumb mix, pressing gently to adhere.
  6. Arrange the breaded chicken on a greased baking sheet, spaced apart.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  8. For extra crunch, broil the chicken for 2-3 minutes, staying vigilant to prevent burning.
  9. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, heat olive oil or melt butter over medium heat.
  10. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant and golden, about 1-2 minutes.
  11. Pour in the heavy cream and let simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring continuously.
  12. Season the garlic sauce with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.

Notes

For maximum crunch, let the breaded chicken rest for about 10 minutes before baking. Feel free to experiment with different cheeses or replace heavy cream with Greek yogurt for a lighter option.
