A comforting dish featuring tender chicken, creamy cheese, and crispy bacon, all made conveniently in a Crockpot.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken breasts
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the Crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning evenly on top of the chicken.
  3. Add the cream cheese and chicken broth.
  4. Set the Crockpot to cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours until the chicken is cooked through.
  5. Shred the chicken using a fork and mix all ingredients together until thoroughly combined.
  6. Fold in the crispy bacon and cheddar cheese, stirring until the cheese melts.
  7. Serve over rice, in sandwiches, or on its own, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

For a lighter version, use turkey bacon and low-fat cream cheese.
