A creamy, comforting slow cooker pasta dish with tender chicken, garlic, and Parmesan cheese that transforms busy weeknights into flavorful feasts.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 ounces pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker and season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Pour the chicken broth over the chicken and sprinkle in the minced garlic.
  3. Cover the slow cooker and set it to low heat for 4 to 6 hours, until the chicken is tender and easily pulls apart.
  4. Remove the chicken and shred it using two forks.
  5. Add the pasta, heavy cream, and grated Parmesan cheese to the slow cooker and stir gently.
  6. Cover and cook on low for an additional 30 minutes, until the pasta is al dente.
  7. Return the shredded chicken to the pot and mix everything together until well combined.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For a healthier twist, use whole wheat pasta or zucchini noodles. Optional flavor boosts include red pepper flakes or spinach.
