A simple and delicious chicken dinner with a sweet and tangy honey Dijon glaze, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (parsley or thyme, optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Rinse the chicken breasts under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, and apple cider vinegar (if using), garlic powder, and onion powder until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  4. Take each chicken breast and dip it into the honey Dijon sauce, ensuring it’s generously coated. Place the chicken breasts into a baking dish.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked and the juices run clear. For an extra golden finish, broil the chicken for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh herbs of your choice before serving.

Notes

Let your chicken rest after baking to keep it tender and juicy. You can marinate the chicken in the honey Dijon sauce a few hours before baking for added flavor.
