A quick and flavorful chicken bake with a creamy, spicy sauce perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (or less to tame the heat)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons sliced green onions, for finishing
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for extra kick)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly oil a shallow baking dish or spray it with a nonstick coating.
  2. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and garlic powder. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
  4. Lay the chicken breasts in a single layer in the baking dish. Generously spoon the sauce over each piece, ensuring they are well coated.
  5. Bake uncovered for about 25–30 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. For a glossy, slightly browned finish, pop the dish under the broiler for 2–3 minutes, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.
  7. After removing from the oven, allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes. Scatter the chopped green onions and, if using, the crushed red pepper flakes over the top.

Notes

Consider serving over rice, wrapping in lettuce, or with roasted vegetables. Adjust sriracha for heat preference.
