Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until thoroughly cooked. Once done, remove the chicken and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for about 5 minutes until they’re browned and fragrant.
  5. Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute to release its aroma.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring well to combine, and let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until it thickens.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet, ensuring it’s fully coated in the creamy mushroom sauce.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
