Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken breasts and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Lower the heat and add the softened cream cheese and chicken broth, stirring until combined. Allow to simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce is smooth and bubbly.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  6. Serve warm, drizzled with the creamy sauce, and enjoy!

Notes

For an extra taste, consider adding spinach or sun-dried tomatoes to the sauce.
