Easy Loaded Chili Cheese Fries

A satisfying snack or easy weeknight dinner featuring crispy fries topped with warm chili, gooey cheese, and fresh toppings.

Ingredients

  • Frozen French fries
  • Chili (canned or homemade)
  • Shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • Sour cream
  • Green onions (chopped)
  • Jalapeños (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven and bake frozen French fries according to package instructions until crispy.
  2. While the fries are baking, heat the chili in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally until warm.
  3. Once fries are done, transfer them to a large ovenproof serving dish or baking sheet.
  4. Spoon the hot chili evenly over the fries.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top and return to the oven for 3–6 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  6. Remove from the oven and drizzle with sour cream. Top with chopped green onions and jalapeños if desired.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For extra crunch, give the frozen fries an extra 3-5 minutes in the oven before adding chili. Use a mix of cheeses for better melting.
