Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup protein powder
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour and protein powder. Stir until well mixed.
  2. Add the honey or maple syrup, almond butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until everything is well incorporated.
  3. Fold in any optional ingredients like chopped nuts or chocolate chips for an extra crunch and sweetness.
  4. Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper. Pour the mixture into the dish and press down evenly.
  5. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to let it set nicely.
  6. Once set, remove from the dish and cut into bars. Store them in an airtight container for maximum freshness.

Notes

These bars can be enjoyed straight from the fridge or crumbled over yogurt for breakfast. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
