A mouthwatering dish featuring tender chicken in a rich, buttery garlic sauce, perfect for quick weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pieces skinless chicken breasts or thighs, boneless
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken stock, warm
  • 4 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Caramelized onions, for garnish
  • Shredded Monterey Jack or cheddar cheese, optional topping

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken: Pat the chicken dry. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika. Allow it to rest for 10 minutes at room temperature.
  2. Sauté the garlic: In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add in the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Make the sauce: Pour in the warm chicken stock and honey, stirring until the sauce turns glossy.
  4. Cook the chicken: Add the seasoned chicken to the pan. Sear for about 4 to 6 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Finish it off: Once the chicken is cooked through, remove from heat, stir in the remaining butter and chopped parsley. Add optional toppings if desired.
  6. Serve and enjoy: Drizzle any remaining sauce over the chicken and serve warm.

Notes

Let the chicken rest before cooking for juiciness. Adjust honey to taste and try using homemade stock for more flavor.
