A comforting dish featuring tender shredded chicken in a creamy Parmesan sauce with hearty pasta, perfect for quick weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds chicken breasts
  • 1 cup buffalo wild wings sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in a crockpot. Coat them generously with the buffalo wild wings sauce.
  2. Cook on low for 360 minutes or on high for 180 minutes, allowing the chicken to become tender and flavorful.
  3. Remove the chicken from the crockpot and shred it using two forks.
  4. Return the shredded chicken to the crockpot. Stir in the heavy cream, minced garlic, and grated Parmesan cheese until everything is mixed well.
  5. Add the cooked pasta into the mixture and gently fold it together to combine all the flavors.
  6. Season your dish with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve with a sprinkle of fresh parsley on top.

Notes

For a lighter version, use a lower-fat cream or dairy-free alternative. You can swap the buffalo sauce for your favorite hot sauce to alter the spice level.
