Baked Ham and Swiss Hawaiian Sliders

Quick and easy baked ham and Swiss sliders using sweet Hawaiian rolls, perfect for gatherings and weeknight meals.

Ingredients

  • 12 sweet Hawaiian rolls
  • 8 slices of ham
  • 8 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally to separate top and bottom halves.
  3. Layer 8 slices of ham across the bottom half, folding if needed for even coverage.
  4. Top the ham with 8 slices of Swiss cheese.
  5. Replace the top half of the rolls and press gently.
  6. Whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Stir in poppy seeds if using.
  7. Brush the butter-mustard mixture over the top of the rolls.
  8. Place in a baking dish, cover with foil, and bake for 15 minutes.
  9. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let rest for 2 minutes, then slice between the rolls and serve warm.

Notes

For a sweeter glaze, consider adding maple or honey to the butter. Assemble ahead of time and refrigerate for later baking.
