A delightful blend of sweet, tangy, and savory flavors that transforms chicken breasts into a restaurant-worthy meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Pinch salt and pepper
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 6 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp whole grain Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
  2. Melt the butter in a small sauté pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 to 60 seconds until softened and fragrant.
  3. Stir in honey and Dijon mustard, then season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Allow the mixture to simmer for 1 to 2 minutes until it thickens into a glaze.
  4. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides, then place them in the prepared baking pan.
  5. Pour the glaze evenly over the chicken. Bake for 15 minutes.
  6. Baste the chicken with the pan juices after 15 minutes. Return it to the oven for another 15 to 20 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 170°F (75°C).
  7. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate the chicken in the glaze for an hour before baking. You can also add chili flakes for heat.
