A decadent stuffed chicken dish inspired by Ruth’s Chris, featuring a rich cheese filling and satisfying crunch.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (like parsley or basil), chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine mozzarella, parmesan, cream cheese, minced garlic, and chopped herbs in a large bowl. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Slice a pocket into each chicken breast, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  4. Fill each chicken breast generously with the cheese mixture.
  5. Season the outside of each stuffed breast with salt and pepper.
  6. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear each stuffed chicken breast for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and juices run clear.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Consider adding sautéed spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for variations. Serve with sides like mashed potatoes or salad.
