Creamy, smoky, and slightly spicy pinwheels made with cream cheese, cheddar, jalapenos, and bacon, perfect for parties and potlucks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup jalapenos, diced (pickled or fresh)
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Stir in the shredded cheddar, diced jalapenos, crumbled bacon, and chopped green onions. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Lay a tortilla flat and spread a thin, even layer of the cheese mixture across the surface, leaving a small margin at the edge.
  3. Starting from one side, roll the tortilla up into a tight log. Compress gently to secure the spiral.
  4. Wrap the logs in plastic and refrigerate for 15–30 minutes for cleaner slices. Unwrap and slice into 1/2- to 3/4-inch pinwheels.
  5. Arrange on a platter and serve immediately, or refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

Use pickled jalapenos for a milder flavor, or fresh for a sharper heat. For a vegetarian version, replace bacon with smoked paprika and walnuts.
