Quick and flavorful baked chicken breasts, perfectly juicy and tender, ready in just 30 minutes.

  • 4 medium-sized chicken breasts (about 2 pounds)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder (optional)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or avocado oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F. Lightly grease a large baking dish to prevent sticking.
  2. Take each chicken breast and pound the thickest part gently until they are an even thickness.
  3. In a mixing bowl, toss the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, dried parsley, dried mustard, optional chili powder, kosher salt, black pepper, and olive oil.
  4. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish, spaced apart for even cooking.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. Once done, let the chicken rest for several minutes before slicing. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

For added flavor, marinate the chicken in the spice mix and oil for an hour before baking.
