Crispy tater tots loaded with cheese, bacon, and green onions, threaded on skewers for a fun, hand-held snack that’s perfect for parties.

Ingredients

  • Frozen tater tots
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Cooked bacon, crumbled
  • Green onions, chopped
  • Sour cream
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to tater tot package instructions.
  2. Toss the frozen tater tots lightly with olive oil, salt, and pepper and spread them in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet.
  3. Bake the tater tots until golden and crispy, following package timing.
  4. While the tots bake, shred the cheddar, crumble the cooked bacon, and chop the green onions.
  5. When the tots are done, let them cool just enough to handle. Thread each skewer with 3–5 tater tots depending on skewer length.
  6. Top each skewer with shredded cheddar, crumbled bacon, and chopped green onions.
  7. Return the assembled skewers to the oven for a few minutes until the cheese melts and becomes gooey.
  8. Remove the skewers, drizzle with sour cream, and serve warm.
