A delightful twist on a classic dish featuring crispy, golden crusted chicken breasts with a flavorful Parmesan cheese coating.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix the dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the butter: Drizzle the melted butter over the breadcrumb mixture. Stir everything until evenly coated.
  4. Coat the chicken: Take each chicken breast and dip it into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure it sticks well. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake: Cook in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked (165°F/75°C internally) and the coating is golden brown.
  6. Cool slightly: Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, substitute half of the breadcrumbs with crushed cornflakes or panko breadcrumbs. Always let the chicken rest after baking for juiciness.
