A delightful and easy-to-make chicken dish with a creamy cheese topping and a crispy coating, inspired by Longhorn Steakhouse.

  • 2 large Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 1/4 cup Ranch Dressing (for marination)
  • 1/2 cup Ranch Dressing (for topping)
  • 1/4 cup Italian Dressing
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Dried Basil
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2.5 oz Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 cup Italian Style Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter (Melted)
  • 1 tsp Avocado Oil
  • 4 slices Provolone Cheese

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken breasts in a bowl with 1/4 cup ranch dressing and Italian dressing for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) while the chicken marinates.
  3. Combine garlic powder, onion powder, dried basil, black pepper, shredded Parmesan, and panko breadcrumbs in a separate bowl to create a coating mix.
  4. Coat the marinated chicken thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place the coated chicken in a greased baking dish and drizzle melted butter over the top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Add provolone cheese on top for the last 5 minutes of baking.
  7. Rest the chicken for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
