A comforting, creamy chicken dish that is easy to prepare and perfect for both weeknight dinners and special occasions.

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat some olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Sear them until they’re golden brown on both sides.
  3. Combine the cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning in a mixing bowl.
  4. Arrange the seared chicken in a baking dish and pour the soup mixture over the top, making sure each piece is well coated.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  6. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Feel free to substitute the cream of mushroom soup with a homemade version or any alternative cream soup. Pair with fluffy mashed potatoes or white rice for the best experience.
