  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Red pepper flakes (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Start by cooking the penne pasta according to package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides, then add them to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the parmesan cheese, spinach, and Italian seasoning. Cook until the spinach wilts and the sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Combine Everything: Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the skillet. Mix thoroughly to combine with the sauce. Finally, add the cooked penne pasta, tossing everything together until well combined.
  5. Serve: Serve hot, garnished with red pepper flakes if desired.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For reheating, add a splash of cream or broth.
