Delicious bite-sized snacks combining pancakes, sausage, and cheese—perfect for brunch or a quick breakfast.

  • 2 cups Hungry Jack Pancake Mix
  • 1 ½ cups water
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a mini muffin pan.
  2. Brown the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat until fully cooked. Once done, drain the excess grease and set aside.
  3. Mix the pancake batter by combining the Hungry Jack pancake mix and water according to package instructions in a mixing bowl.
  4. Combine ingredients: Stir the cooked sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, and maple syrup into the batter until well mixed.
  5. Fill the muffin cups three-quarters full with the batter.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the bites are golden brown.
  7. Serve warm, enjoying them right from the oven with extra maple syrup for dipping.

Notes

For fluffier bites, add a splash of vanilla extract or a pinch of cinnamon. Make sure to thoroughly drain your sausage to prevent excess grease.
