A creamy, cheesy oven-baked chicken that is tender, flavorful, and easy to prepare. Perfect for weeknight dinners or small gatherings.

  • 4 boneless (skinless) chicken breasts
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (or sour cream)
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley or chives (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Combine the Greek yogurt, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika (if using), salt, and black pepper until smooth in a medium bowl.
  3. Arrange the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish and spread the creamy yogurt mixture evenly over each piece of chicken with a spatula.
  4. Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the topping is golden and slightly bubbly.
  5. Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley or chives over the top before serving.

Notes

Marinate the chicken in the yogurt mixture for 30 minutes for more flavor. Use freshly grated Parmesan for a creamier texture.
