A romantic and irresistible dish featuring tender chicken, creamy sauce, and vibrant sun-dried tomatoes, perfect for a quick dinner or special gathering.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Generously season both sides of the chicken breasts with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the chicken in the skillet and cook for about 5 to 7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Once browned, remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the heavy cream and chopped sun-dried tomatoes. Stir well to combine.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet. Cover it and let it simmer for 10 to 15 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked through.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

For juicier chicken, consider using chicken thighs. If you prefer a lighter version, half-and-half can be used instead of heavy cream.
