One-Pan Teriyaki Chicken Stir Fry

A delightful fusion of savory, sweet, and umami flavors, this one-pan stir fry features tender chicken and vibrant vegetables coated in a homemade teriyaki sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, etc.)
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Add 1 teaspoon of minced garlic and 1 teaspoon of minced ginger, sauté for about 30 seconds until aromatic.
  3. Add the sliced chicken breast, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5–7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  4. Push the chicken to the side of the pan and add 2 cups of mixed vegetables. Cook for about 5 minutes until tender but crisp.
  5. Pour in 1/4 cup of teriyaki sauce over the chicken and vegetables, stir to combine, and cook for an additional 2–3 minutes until heated through.
  6. Serve hot over cooked rice or noodles, garnished with green onions or sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

Feel free to swap vegetables or adjust the teriyaki sauce for taste. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
