Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
  2. Add diced chicken and season it with salt and pepper. Sauté until the chicken is golden brown, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in Italian seasoning and penne pasta.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and marinara sauce. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally until the pasta is al dente.

  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil.
